    Strip-down and assessment done. The LH outer sill and the lower rear quarter are corroded through and need new sections fabricated; the rear crossmember needs plating. Everything else on the underside looks sound. Quote to follow tomorrow.

    Fabrication under way. The new LH sill section is tacked and being seam-welded in; the rear quarter section goes in next. While the outer sill was off we found the inner sill behind it has gone too — we've added a repair section as a separate item below for you to approve.

    Welding complete and dressed back. Repaired sections have been epoxy-primed, seam-sealed and stone-chipped; colour goes on this week once the guard arrives.

    Paint is on and the sill and quarter are reassembled. Final checks, underseal and a road test this week, then it's ready to collect.
